The tax return was completed using CalCal system, however it is being rejected by HMRC as the data submitted does not reconcile with HMRC’s information on file. Could you please advise how to work through this issue.

Hi Alison,
Sorry you’re having trouble. We can see this error from HMRC and it looks like CalCal’s calculation differs from theirs by a few pounds. Our accounting team will have a look into it and we’ll get back to you in 24 hours.

An error has been rectified on part of our tax calculation routines. I’ll PM you more details for privacy but it looks like you should be able to go through with your submission now.
